Hi All,

Sorry if you get this multiple times.

I would encourage you all to go to the following very relevant
Chemistry colloquium. Friday 3:30 in 1003 Silver. Detailed directions
are given at: http://www.nyu.edu/projects/jerschow/nmr_sem.html

Professor Thomas Meade
Northwestern University
"The Chemistry of Biological Molecular Imaging"

Tom Meade is one of the leaders in the area of environment-sensitive
contrast agents, the buzzword you may have heard is "molecular
imaging". Check out his website for some
http://www.chem.northwestern.edu/~tmeade/smart%20contrast%20agents.htm
for examples of MRI contrast agents that change MR properties based on
molecular switching.

PS - For those of you on the mriusers list, there will be no MRI users'
meeting this week, you should go to this talk instead.
